Dr. Kent Orlando
Dr. Kent Orlando attended Dalhousie University, completing his undergraduate
BSc (Hon) degree in 1993, and receiving his Doctor of Dental Surgery in
1998. Originally from Halifax, Nova Scotia, Kent preferred to live in a
smaller rural community and immediately fell in love with Carleton County.
He has been practicing dentistry in Woodstock ever since graduation from
dental school. In February of 2011, he opened First Town Dental at its
present location (255 Connell Street). In 2016, he welcomed Dr. Alex
Wishart as his partner in the practice.
Dr. Orlando is involved in organized dentistry and served as president of
the New Brunswick Dental Society in 2011-2012. He is involved in his
community as a member of the Woodstock Rotary Club and the Meduxnekeag River Association.
Dr. Orlando is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the Fredericton Dental Society, the New Brunswick
Dental Society and the Canadian Dental Association.
Dr. Orlando is married to his wife Tammy and they have two daughters, Lily
and Madeline. In his spare time, Kent likes to spend time with his family,
canoe and kayak, ride his bikes, ski, tie flies and fish.
